Project name: Managing EUROPORTS’ fly ashes
Application: Automation of the loading and unloading of fly ashes in warehouses
So-called “fly ashes” are by-products of various incinerators and are processed as an additive for cement. These fly ashes are supplied by ship and are “blown” into storage rooms through a complex pipe system. The unloading of fly ashes in warehouses is being controlled by different routes, who each have different filling points. In this way, we can guarantee the desired distribution of the product in warehouses. The transfer to trucks happens through a silo, which is automatically filled up via an available extraction point in the warehouse.
The system includes:
-the automatic, semi-automatic and manual filling of the warehouse.
-the automated emptying of the various circuits.
-the control of the air filters (the warehouse is hermetically sealed).
-the possibility to choose a desired route sequence freely, and to block routes if necessary.
-controlment of the loading silo according to a cascade system and automatic filling.
